Using 9,500 LEGO bricks over a 33 hour peri­od, Sascha Mehlhase cre­at­ed this 1:50 scale model of the ATLAS exper­i­ment at the CERN Large Hadron Col­lid­er. The project cost rough­ly $2614 and mea­sures 1m x 0.5m x 0.5m in size.
